Using the Projectpad¶
What is the Projectpad?¶
The Projectpad is a “TaskQuark pad” to work with projects and subprojects in your profile.
How to Use the Projectpad¶
Projects¶
The Projectpad shows the projects and subprojects that belong to the selected project. When no project is selected, the Projectpad will show the top-level projects. You can select what projects and subprojects to work with by clicking on the project name on the sidebar project list.
To create a new project, click on the green plus icon at the top the pad. The Project form will be displayed where you can enter the project title, description, and other details (see Working with Projects).
Subprojects¶
To work with the subprojects of a project, click on the project name in the sidebar project list. The list of projects will be updated to show the subprojects of the selected project.
If you create a new project while a project is selected, the new project will be created as a subproject of the selected project. You can change the parent project, anyway, in the form of the project before saving.
Reordering subprojects¶
You can reorder the top-level projects, or the subprojects in any project, by dragging and dropping them up and down in the Projectpad.
Filtering the Projectpad¶
Using the filter¶
You can filter the projects in the Projectpad by typing a word in the filter box in the top right corner of the pad.
The projects will be filtered by the title, to show only those that match the characters entered.
Tip
Press Crtl + F to enable the filter box.
